Pastor Karl is the fifth generation of Frincke Pastors in the LCMS, who first served a two-point parish in Wellesley and Poole, Ontario, Canada. He also served in Lancaster, PA, then in Ft. Wayne, IN. After retirement he has served as a Transition Pastor in five locations: Hammond, and Kendallville, IN; Van Wert, OH; Demotte and Ft. Wayne, IN. He has been blessed greatly in each of these congregations, which he loved. He is happy to serve Mt. Calvary leading the people to seek find God’s plan for them as a congregation.

He was born and raised in Royal Oak, MI, before getting his college education at Concordia, Ann Arbor, MI, and Concordia Sr. College, Ft. Wayne. He is a graduate of Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, having served his vicarage year in Torrance, CA. He has been a Pastor since 1975.

Pastor Karl has been married to Susan (nee Baringer), a retired Lutheran School Teacher, for 51 years. They are grateful to God that all three of their children and grandchildren live in Ft. Wayne: Jonathan (wife Jessica) and three boys; Kara (husband Sean); and Dave (wife Bethany) and their four children.

Deaconess Jeana Moe graduated from the Concordia University, River Forest (now Chicago), Deaconess Training Program in 1984. She earned a BA in Theology and was placed in her first Call as Deaconess that same year. She earned a MA in Religion from Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne, in 2008. The Summer of 1985, Deaconess Jeana joined Mount Calvary and served as an uncalled worker in a variety of roles in her years here. She joined the staff as a contract worker the first time the Fall of 2010 and served with the Pastor to coordinate visitation ministry. Deaconess Jeana resigned that position in 2011 but returned to Mount Calvary Fall 2017 and picked up where she left off. Deaconess Jeana received a formal Call from Mount Calvary to serve as its Deaconess December 2021. She continues the same duties, but is now overseeing Pastoral Care in the absence of a settled pastor. She has developed an active Prayer ministry for Mount Calvary, also. Deaconess Jeana says: “I am honored to return to my home congregation and to be a support and assistant to the Body of Christ here as we transition together into the future God has for us.”

Gabrielle is the office manager for Mount Calvary Lutheran Church. She has also been working on marketing and adverting for Mount Calvary. She runs the facility rentals as well. She has been married to her husband, Patrick, since April 21, 2018, and are both from Fort Wayne. They have 2 sons, 4 years and 1 year olds. Gabrielle graduated from IPFW with a Bachelor’s degree in psychology. Prior to having children, Gabrielle worked as a social worker in nursing facilities, with a specialization in dementia care. Gabrielle’s interests include taking care of and spending time with her family, nutrition, exercise, playing volleyball, traveling, and caring for the planet.

Dora is the Director of Mount Calvary Child Care and Preschool. She has been working in education/childcare for almost 20 years. She grew up in Fort Wayne and attended IPFW (when it was still IPFW) and earned her Bachelor’s in Elementary Education. After graduation, she lived on both coasts with her then-husband who was in the Navy. Through those travels, Dora worked as a substitute teacher and for Navy Child and Youth Programs for almost 9 years working her way from a part-time classroom assistant to the Youth Programs Director (and held that position for almost 4 years). In December 2016, Dora decided to move back to Fort Wayne to be closer to my immediate family. When she’s not at work, she enjoys exercising, reading, spending time with family and working on projects in/around her 100+ year old home. Dora is a member of Trinity English Lutheran Church located in downtown Fort Wayne.

Meghan is the Assistant Director/Office Manager here at Mount Calvary Childcare and Preschool. In her free time, she enjoys going on walks and spending time with her husband and dog, Bella. She has always enjoyed working with children and has been in various roles in education since high school. After graduating from high school, she went on to get her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education. She is so thankful to get to combine my love for Jesus and working with kiddos all into one with her position here!
