![]() | Dora Kurpierz Preschool & Child Care Director Hello, my name is Dora Kurpierz and I am the Director of Mount Calvary Child Care and Preschool. I have been working in education/childcare for almost 20 years. I grew up in Fort Wayne and attended IPFW (when it was still IPFW) and earned my Bachelor’s in Elementary Education. After graduation, I lived on both coasts with my then-husband who was in the Navy. Through those travels, I worked as a substitute teacher and for Navy Child and Youth Programs for almost 9 years working my way from a part-time classroom assistant to the Youth Programs Director (and held that position for almost 4 years). In December 2016, I decided to move back to Fort Wayne to be closer to my immediate family. When I’m not at work, I enjoy chasing my dog around (he’s a Corgi/Pomeranian named Anubis), reading, spending time with my family and working on projects in/around my 100+ year old home. I am a member of Trinity English Lutheran Church located in downtown Fort Wayne. |
